Jewelry Care

Solid gold, gold filled, silver and oxidized silver jewelry can be cleaned with mild soapy water and a soft brush. Then dry it thoroughly and lightly polish with a soft, clean cloth.

For plated jewelry, vermeil jewelry, and jewelry made from other materials, only use a soft, clean cloth with a gentle wiping motion.

We strongly suggest removing your jewelry when handling chemicals, cosmetics, chlorinated water, and anything that isn't safe for your skin. Take off jewelry when pieces are at risk for rough handling or striking hard surfaces. Particular care is encouraged for softer gemstones like pearls, opals, emeralds, and other semi-precious stones. When in doubt, take it off
just in case!

We happily service all our jewelry for the lifetime of its wear. Feel free to drop in during our open store hours for complimentary polishings and/or light cleanings. Additional services like resizing and repair may be covered by designers' warranties. If not, we offer service at a nominal charge.

All custom engagement and bridal pieces come with an annual ring check-up for the lifetime of the piece. Drop it off and we will give it a thorough cleaning, inspect for any signs of wear and tear, and clean it up for you in 7-10 days.

Anything you treasure should be insured. We strongly suggest you contact your homeowner's/renter's insurance or take out a standalone policy to protect your most valuable pieces. Let us know if you need a detailed invoice to get coverage.
